The summer of 2015 will be our 25th season performing as a group of men who just love to sing. It is hard to believe that we are hitting the quarter century milestone as an organization. We are hoping to get a number of new members to be a part of this group for this special season. Our rehearsal schedule will start on Tuesday, May 5, 2015. We rehearse at 7:30 PM each week at Allentown's Asbury Methodist Church, and rehearsals run 2 hours. We will be rehearsing every Tuesday in May, and then will move to Wednesdays for the rest of the summer, starting on Wednesday, June 3. Our final rehearsal of the season will be Wednesday, August 26. If you have any interest at all in being a part of the chorus this season, please contact our membership chairman, Joel Hurley.

Our 24th summer season is complete, and we have closed our music folders until the spring. We have released our newest CD, had our end of the summer concert, and even performed at the new PPL Center singing the National Anthem before a Harlem Globetrotters game. We have performed in multiple venues around the Lehigh Valley over the years, and added three more this year when we visited Saint Thomas More Church and Milford Park Bible Camp and the PPL Center.

Please check our recordings page where you can hear samples of our CD's including our newest, and download an order form for our recordings.

Stars and Stripes

On August 21, 2010, Summer Harmony performed the National Anthem before a Baltimore Orioles baseball game in Baltimore.

Here are two photos from Asbury Methodist Church in 2009.

In the past we have appeared in many varied and wonderful venues through the Lehigh Valley and beyond. We have performed the National Anthem before professional sports events a number of time in our history at Veterans Stadium, Citizens Bank Park, and Coca-Cola Park. Over the years, the Phillies' record when we performed for them has been 9-1, and the IronPigs are 3-1 when we sing the National Anthem for their games. We can also add that the Orioles are 1-0 when we do the National Anthem at their home stadium. We enjoy returning to many of our favorite sites, and also look forward to finding new places to perform and making new friends when we are in new locations. Hopefully you will pick up some of our recordings at a concert this season, or will order our recordings using the form on this page.

If you wish to host a Summer Harmony Performance, please contact our "scheduler", Doug Helfrich, immediately via email for more for details.

Our first rehearsal for the 2008 season was held on May 28 when the choir first got to enjoy the directing of Clair Neamand. Photos from that rehearsal follow:

On Monday, July 21, 2008, the new Summer Harmony under the baton of Clair Neamand debuted at the new Coca-Cola Park to sing the National Anthem. Below are a few photos of our performance:
